It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Namata Agnes commonly known as Hellen, our beloved front desk attendant at Mwana Hotel, Iganga district. Her untimely departure has left a void in our lives, and we mourn the loss of a dedicated professional and a kind soul.
For over 20 years, Hellen has been the face of Mwana Hotel, greeting guests with a warm smile and ensuring their stay was nothing short of exceptional. Her tireless service, patience, and unwavering commitment to excellence have earned her the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.

As news of her passing spread, the community has come together to celebrate her life and legacy. “Hellen was more than just an employee; she was a friend, a mentor, and a kind-hearted soul who touched the lives of everyone she met,” said the Director of Mwana Hotel, expressing the organization’s deep sorrow.

The villagers of Luzinga village, where Hellen hailed from, remember her as a kind-hearted lady who always put others before herself. Her selflessness and generosity have inspired many, and her memory will continue to inspire future generations.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Hellen’s family, particularly her two young sons, Rogers (17) and Raymond (8), and her widowed mother, who are left to cherish her memory. We pray that they find strength and comfort in their time of grief.
Hellen’s funeral was held in her home village of Luzinga, Kyanamukaka sub-county, Masaka district, where she was laid to rest with dignity and honor.
