Good Heart Uganda Emphasizes Child Safety and Protection During Holiday Season

The Officer in Charge of Children at Good Heart Uganda, Madam Nanoozi Tracy, has issued a statement urging parents, guardians, and caregivers to prioritize the safety and well-being of children during the ongoing third-term holiday.

The holiday, which coincides with Christmas and general elections, has raised concerns about potential risks and vulnerabilities that children may face, including abuse, exploitation, and neglect.

In her statement, Madam Nanoozi Tracy emphasized the importance of providing children with a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring they are fed nutritious meals, and protecting them from all forms of harm.

“As we celebrate the festive season, let us remember that children are a precious gift and it’s our collective responsibility to ensure their safety and well-being,” she said.

Good Heart Uganda is committed to working with stakeholders to protect children’s rights and prevent abuse. The organization encourages reporting any cases of abuse or neglect to the relevant authorities.

The organization wishes all children and families a happy, safe, and enjoyable festive season.
