Why do volunteers pay?
Good Heart Uganda is an independent organization and therefore does not receive government support to fund our volunteers’ activities. All our work is 100% funded through your contributions as a volunteer and donations. We solely fund our projects and achieve social goals from the fees paid by the volunteers and donations. The application fee caters for maintaining a secure and effective website, a t-shirt, membership, advertising and promotion costs and on-site program supervision. The fees you pay have a carryover effect on the local community long after you go home. This money directly funds the project you are working on. All of these expenses are extremely necessary to ensure that your time with us is safe, comfortable, and worthwhile. The progress and changes we have made in the lives of so many would not be possible, without you and all of volunteers before you,
