What we do.
Good Heart Uganda aims its activities in supporting the vulnerable children and the elderly persons through a number of activities ranging from spiritual to economical. We are committed to the well-being, dignity and voice of the disadvantaged people in Iganga
Our Vision
Is to be a Center of Love, Care, Hope, Joy and Wisdom for the vulnerable children, youth, women and elderly persons.
Our Mission
Is to see vulnerable children, youth, women and elderly persons living a happy life.
Our Objectives
- To protect the children, youth, women and the elderly persons against all sorts of abuse.
- To enlighten children and youths by giving them the basic education.
- To protect children’s rights such that children will be in safer hands in Eastern Uganda.
- To build, establish and maintain orphanage home for the vulnerable and needy children for any other charitable purposes.
- To reach vulnerable children and elderly persons and advocate for their rights
- To reach and establish medical services, sports centers and other institutions of learning.
- To promote and improve living conditions of vulnerable children and elderly persons of the organization and the community at large
Legal status
Good Heart Uganda(GHU) is a fully registered as a community based organization in Uganda by Iganga District Local Government’s Office, with Reg. No: IDLG/472/2024. GHU is Non-Governmental, nonprofit making organization, envisioned to to be a Center of Love, Care, Hope, Joy and Wisdom for the vulnerable children, youth, women and elderly persons.
